The article said, “…erode trust on a daily basis.” This is the key phrase. And, this is probably the most underrated phrase in the 1,000 word article (Article here–> https://lnkd.in/gBvjDpr).) It is true that trust can completely vanish in one drama filled interaction worthy of the silver screen. More often, trust gets eroded over time. Imagine a pear and then imagine a whole bunch of little, teeny, tiny slices being removed from the pear over time. After a while, the slicing gets to the core and we have an awakening. “I don’t need this!” We are out the door. So, what one act pushed us out the door? Don’t know. Can’t point to just one. It’s an amalgamation. When it comes to trust, small stuff matters. Usually not so much in the moment, but in accretion.
