You get about 3 solid brain hours per day. That’s it.
So, what are your best 3 hours? Might be right when you awake. Might be in the evening. It’s probably not just after lunch.
The limited brain up-time limits what we can do. But that limit is not a bad thing. If we embrace the constraint, we get a reason to protect our time. And then we get a reason to protect our team members’ time.
Imagine a whole team that gets a consistent 3 hours every day to produce their best work that is devoid of bad meetings, phone calls, emails, etc. Just 3 consecutive hours of pure production on their highest and best projects.
Ooh! It gives me chills just thinking about it!
