When I was younger I thought “if I just work longer, then I could get everything done.” Over time, I changed my mind. In my early 30s I began to believe that “if I just work smarter, then I could get everything done.” I have changed my mind again. Now, my focus is not about getting everything done. News flash! Getting everything done is impossible. Rather, I focus my very limited time each day on getting the very select few things done. I move the big rocks first. Nothing beats progress on those handful of projects that actually move the needle.
