Mechanical to Creative

Everyday our work is moving further away from the mechanical and into the creative. Once upon a time more of us had the option to show up right on time, work the line, and leave when the whistle blew. These days are behind us. As work changes and demands more of our creative labor, how we go about our day must also change. Creativity requires space to breathe. It requires us to engage in new ways. We can’t bust out creativity as if we are on the line. It won’t work. Feel free to change how you work to suit what you are actually responsible for producing in today’s economy.
