Insights to help you create a compelling and connected culture

Before the end of today

Might I humbly suggest that before the end of today:

1. Provide one bit of feedback to a member of your team. Feedback can be a “thank you,” a “good job,” or a suggestion for improvement. Hint: the more specific, the better.

2. Close your email completely for one hour such that it won’t ping you when a new message comes in. During this hour focus on just one of the big things on your list.

3. Leave on time and have a distraction-free dinner with your family. What went well for them today?

There’s always going to be reasons not to. There’s always going to be some fire burning that needs your attention. If you are waiting for the world to grant you reprieve, you will be waiting forever. Instead, push back and apply your energy to the few important things.
