Almost done? Do you choose to walk or sprint

Wednesday is not for everyone.

Late in the afternoon during my last strategic planning session, I asked my group how they were doing. I could tell the energy in the room was waning. Not unnatural. Each of us only has so much gas in the tank, and on that day we were working hard.

I asked them how they wanted to finish. We can choose to walk across the finish line, or we can choose that final lap sprint. They chose to sprint, we recalibrated, and then we kept at it for another few hours.

So, how do you want to finish the week? Walk to Friday with your dignity, or shall we turn it up a bit?

It’s up to you, but you don’t have to do it alone. Let’s do this together. I believe in you!
