There are tons of superstars out there.
Millions of us are willing to invest our emotional energy, our physical energy, and our mental energy into things that matter. We want to be a part of something special. We want to impact others both inside and outside the organization. We are ready to rock!
So, what’s the problem?
Simple. What many of us are offering as employers is no longer worth the investment of our energies.
What did Covid teach us? Among other lessons, it showed us that time is precious. We don’t know how much we have. We should use it wisely. In between Zoom calls we did some soul searching. And we discovered something. We discovered that we deserve better. Plain and simple.
Better money? Yes. But we also deserve better leaders. We deserve to a part of something that’s inspiring. We deserve better decisions. Better recognition. Better involvement. Better thinking. Better job design.
For organizations that are on a clear mission, guided by values, steered by Level 5 leaders, and invested in creating high performance cultures where people are paid, accountable, and expected to contribute at their highest level – there are no shortages!
Remember the old adage that says when we point one finger there are three other fingers pointed back at us? It’s apt. Now is the time to break it all apart and construct something truly great. Focus on that work and you won’t have any shortages either.
