A/E/C Firms: Prepare for the Grand Reshuffle Now

The Grand Reshuffling is coming to an A/E/C firm near you! Are you excited? I guess it depends on what side of the table you sit on.

For employees, opportunities will abound in the latter half of this year before they ignite in 2021. For employers, get ready to recruit.

Coivd-19 has kept many people in jobs they would rather not be in. The fear of switching jobs in a remote environment has kept many butts in current seats. BUT, as the number of fully vaxxed start sailing past 50 percent, team member confidence will accelerate. People will leave for greener grass.

The Grand Reshuffle refers to this energetic movement of people among employers post Covid. Once confidence hits a certain mark, the flood gates will open. A/E/C firms who focus now on engineering the right culture, will attract the best people. The A/E/C firms who sit tight will be behind the power curve.

As Hemingway said, “gradually, then suddenly.” He wasn’t talking about the Grand Reshuffle but he may as well have been.
