Reflecting on leadership and the ultimate goal

You made it to another Friday. Perfect time for a moment of reflection before you head out the door for the weekend. Here’s the prompt: If you asked them, what would your customers say about your team? Every team has at least one customer. Maybe it’s an internal customer. Maybe it’s an external customer. Maybe it’s both. A number of us spend so much time head down in the work that we can miss the ultimate goal – how our team and our work help the customer.  How does that customer feel about our team? (Whether you overdeliver or underdeliver, how you make them feel is what they remember.) How confident are they in your team’s ability? What feedback would they offer? For the brave, take it beyond a mental exercise and schedule a feedback call. Who knows what you might learn.
