Golden hours

What is the shape of your personal energy curve? When are your golden hours? I have learned over the years that I am best in the morning for making headway on long-term, creative projects. For instance, I worked on my first book (due out shortly) mainly between 0430 and 0630 on weekdays and from 0700-0900 on the weekends. I knew that If I tried to write the book between 1400-1600 or 1600-1800, it would still be a dream. Why? My energy for doing that kind of work is great in the morning but flags in the afternoon and evening. What about you? When are you best? And, do you consistently use your best time for whatever your priority project is?
